Oklahoma City police apprehended a convicted felon wanted in connection with a 2024 Texas shooting after officers briefly pursued a Jeep that sped away from a gas station.
A wanted woman was arrested when Connecticut State Police troopers found her hiding under a home's deck after ramming two cruisers at a gas station, leading to a chaotic pursuit.
Oklahoma police apprehended a convicted felon and a woman wanted by Texas Rangers following a vehicle pursuit last week.
The incident happened at around 3:45 p.m.Wednesday when Oklahoma City police tried to stop a red Jeep at a Del City gas station, KOCO-TV reports. That's when the vehicle sped away with officers following behind.
In dashboard camera footage, an apparent firearm magazine can be seen being thrown out of the Jeep during the chase. The pursuit lasted about 15 minutes and came to an end when police created a roadblock along the highway.
Deshane Jefferson, a 34-year-old passenger in the Jeep, was wanted in connection with a 2024 shooting in Texas. He also was wanted on a felony warrant out of Jackson County.
The driver was wanted by Texas Rangers, but it was unclear why.
